My Inspiration:
On Sept 9, 2006, Tori, my God daughter became very ill. She became lethargic, extremely thirsty, had unexplained weight loss, excessive urination; and she even got to the point where she would grunt instead of actually talking. After the wrong diagnosis and un-needed medication, she ended up in the emergency room, then in the ICU for 3 days followed by 3 more days in the hospital after being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Her mom, my dear friend, was devastated and we decided we would do all we could to help find a cure.
