Favorite Charity:
I will continue to work closely with JDRF locally and hopefully nationally to find a cure for type 1 diabetes. I will spread the message of urgency but also of hope. With the help of Diabetes Doggie,
I think the misconceptions about diabetes will become clearer and the signs and symptoms will become as known as the alphabet. I won’t stop or quit until we find a cure. JDRF is dedicated and will continue with research and development all over the world until they too as well, find a cure. Help us on our mission to find a cure for all of the kids affected and the kids that will continue to be affected in our lifetime.
One might ask why I chose this? I was there and saw the impact when my Goddaughter at 4 years old, who is now 7, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Her whole life changed in a matter of minutes. Because of the friendship of her mother and I and my love for Tori, it has also changed my life, and the life of my family. It will continue to do so until we find a cure.
